OrlandoFest at Universal Orlando® Resort
OrlandoFest at Universal Orlando® Resort is Orlando’s newest and most exciting festival and is open to middle, junior high and high school concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching (parade) bands, orchestras, choirs and auxiliary units.
Held at Universal Studios Florida Orlando® in the spring, the festival includes a workshop with a nationally known panel of judges who provide you with positive feedback and an evaluation of each group.
Orlandofest Music Festival
After each concert performance, a judging panel member will conduct a clinic with the intent of instructing each group to produce more effective results. After the workshop and performance, your group will have an option to go to Universal Studios Florida Orlando® or Universal’s Islands of Adventure®. An awards ceremony will follow.
OrlandoFest at Universal Orlando® Resort is Central Florida’s Premier Music Festival Competition. Designed for elementary school, middle school, junior high and high school performance ensembles, OrlandoFest is a positive and educationally meaningful music festival experience that is open to concert bands, parade bands, vocal and instrumental jazz ensembles, orchestras (both full and string only), concert choirs, chamber and specialty choirs, show choirs, concert percussion ensembles, marching percussion ensembles and auxiliary units.
OrlandoFest offers ensembles the chance to showcase their talents amongst some of the Nation’s Leading Adjudicators in a State-of-the-Art Performing Arts Center. Music Educators have the choice between competitive and non-competitive festival options.

Disney Performing Arts
What is Disney Performing Arts?
Student and community performing groups of 10 or more are given the opportunity to perform onstage for approximately 25 minutes at select locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
Who can participate?
Any group of youth (ages 7+) or adult performers. Groups must apply and meet audition qualifications. Past performing groups have included marching, concert and jazz bands; show and jazz choirs; orchestras; dance and drill teams; color guards; pom squads; performance groups from dance studios; community orchestras; vocal ensembles; and gospel choirs.
Available to international ensembles and groups.
Are there educational opportunities?
Disney Performing Arts Workshops offer the ultimate educational experience, and have been recognized by the National Association for Music Education, which officially endorses Disney Performing Arts Performances and Workshops.
Festival Disney
What is Festival Disney?
Festival Disney is an all Disney produced competitive music festival!
Who can participate?
Middle, junior-high and high school concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching bands, orchestras, and choral ensembles. Available to international ensembles and groups. No audition is required.
Where do performances take place?
Performances take place in or around the Walt Disney World Resort. Is this a competition? Yes, although Directors may choose between competitive and noncompetitive adjudication options. What is the award structure? All participating ensembles receive a Festival Disney Award and every member of the ensemble receives a Festival Disney medal.
Within each division and classification, a “Best in Class” ensemble is selected (e.g., the top High School Concert Band in Class A or a Middle School Mixed Choir). The three highest-rated ensembles within each category, regardless of classification, are recognized with Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards*.
Awards are presented based on criteria outlined in the Festival Disney application information.
Are there educational opportunities?
Specially selected, nationally-recognized adjudicators provide detailed, positive feedback to all ensembles through written and recorded comments as well as personalized feedback clinics following concert performances. Festival Disney fulfills many of the standards set forth in the National Core Arts Standards. Busch Gardens Soundwaves
Busch Gardens would like to invite your band, choir or orchestra to join our prestigious team of SoundWaves graduates. SoundWaves offers a unique performance venue to showcase your group’s talent. A dedicated coordinator will organize your group’s performance, making it easy and fun.
